Plot & Setting
You're a simple teenager. Living your life busy with part-time jobs, school, friends, and of course your family. Maybe even a significant other if you have one. While your leaving your house one day to hang out with your friends, some time around midnight, but notice something is...off. You don't know exactly what but you are determined to find out. Continuing on to where you agreed to meet up you find your friends not around the fire but instead hidden in the shadows as if in fear. Not questioning it, you walk over to the only one of them standing out in the moonlight and whisper, "What's wrong with everyone?"
He turns to you and smiles. His teeth gleam from the light. "Hiding." He responds. "From what?" You ask glancing around. "From me." He attempts to grab you but you manage to slip from his grasp and run over to the fire. He approaches, getting closer, and you see what appear to be fangs sliding from his mouth.
You only laugh and put down the backpack. This causes a look of shock to cross his face. You turn to one of the teen girls hidden behind a box, watching the other boy with frightened eyes. You smirk and whisper, "Well, it seems I'm no longer the only creature of the dark."
